Winemaker Delphine Gladhart creates the Cuvee du Vigneron by selecting individual barrels that create an exceptional wine when combined together. For this bottling she limits her selections to the block of the vineyard planted to the Pommard clone of Pinot noir. Pommard is one of the original clones of Pinot noir planted in Oregon. Grown in our vineyard, the flavors are dominated by fruits such as black cherry and black currant, as well as freshly ground pepper and spice.
