2006 Golden Nectar
Winter's Hill Golden Nectar is made from a blend of three different grapes: Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, and Early Muscat. Harvested, and then frozen, the fruit is carefully loaded into the press while still frozen. Slow, gentle pressing can take more than 24 hours and only the sweet, concentrated nectar is extracted. Excellent balance of sugar, acidity, and alcohol makes it delicious alone, or paired with spicy hazelnuts or cheese such as a thin slice of Parmesan Reggiano.
